Full-day from Ikebukuro: choose a Nagatoro Gorge boat or raft, then ride the Hodosan Ropeway.

  1. Meet at Ikebukuro Station (East Exit)
    You’ll be handed a Suica card with all transport fares for today.
  2. 08:00 Seibu Limited Express to Seibu-Chichibu → transfer to Nagatoro.
  3. 10:00–12:00 Arakawa Gorge cruise: gentle boat or thrilling raft option.
  4. 12:15–13:15 Lunch riverside: try river fish curry or local trout sashimi.
  5. 13:30–15:00 Hodosan Ropeway up to Mt. Hodo; visit Hodosan Shrine.
  6. 15:30 Return by ropeway and explore souvenir shops.
  7. 16:30 Train back to Ikebukuro, arriving ~18:30.
